Today I had the privilege of supporting at the TISKA National Black Belt Championships.
I also competed in the Individual Kata and Jyu Ippon Kumite events, achieving 1st place in both.
It was a proud moment and a reminder that hard work, dedication and consistent training really do pay off.
I continue to compete to lead by example, to better understand what you would all experience, and help promote our karate schools Nationally.
I hope this inspires you all to take part in the Kyu Grade Championships coming up in November. I will be there to support everyone who chooses to compete.
Well done to all competitors and thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success.
