I am very proud to announce that your Sensei has successfully achieved her 3rd Dan (Sandan) Shotokan Karate grading today, following an extremely challenging test of skill, determination and spirit.
This was an incredibly challenging grading, finishing with five fights against karateka graded 5th Dan and above. It tested not only her technical ability but also her determination, spirit and perseverance.
What makes this achievement so special is that Sensei is always looking to improve herself so that she can be the best instructor possible for all her students across Worksop, Retford, Doncaster & Grantham. She truly believes that learning never stops and she continues to push herself to set the best example for those she teaches.
Sensei cares deeply about every one of her students and their karate journey. This achievement reflects the same hard work, dedication and commitment that she encourages in all of you every week in the dojo.
I couldn’t be prouder of what she has achieved today. Successfully completing what is considered one of the toughest and most physically demanding gradings in Shotokan Karate is an outstanding accomplishment and one that is thoroughly deserved.
